Reservation
A booking is essential.
Write to us and explain the type of group you are booking for. Write your preferences and contact details and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Once you have contacted the service, you will receive a booking confirmation.
The confirmation includes information about the activity (date, time, price), your group (contact details, number of participants) and contact and access details for the mahJ.
Bring it with you on the day of your visit. You will have to show it at the ticket office.
Payment and cancellation
Payment for booked activities must be made by bank transfer two weeks in advance.
The activity will still be billed if the group does not come, unless a cancellation has been received at least three days in advance, at the following address: groupes@mahj.org.
On arrival at the museum
Plan to arrive fifteen minutes early for the security check (X-ray of personal belongings) and for the distribution of audiophones.
The group leader presents the booking confirmation at the ticket office.
He or she will pay the admission fees according to the number of participants (payment by cash, cheque or bank card) if admission fees apply.
A cloakroom and folding seats are available to all.
The group leader is responsible to enact the visitors regulations and photography restrictions.
Loan of audio systems (audiophones)
They are compulsory for all speakers in the exhibition rooms. During the exhibition "Pierre Dac. Le parti d'en rire" exhibition, these audiophones allow the lecturer to play a video or audio document for the group.
Audiophones are available free of charge to groups who have booked a slot to visit the temporary exhibition. If you need audiophones to visit the collection as a group, please specify this when booking. These audiophones can be fitted with inductive loops for the listening comfort of people who use a hearing aid with a T function. The volume of the audiophones is adjustable.
When the group arrives, the person in charge will hand over an identity document, which will be returned after the audiophones have been returned. In the event of loss, he/she will be required to reimburse the museum for the missing equipment (€98).
External guides may use their own audiophones.
