The decoration of this shield with its traditional motifs evokes the Torah and the Temple: crown, lions, fleurs de lys and pillars. This symbolism is reinforced by two cherubs reminiscent of the Kerubbim guarding the divine throne, and two angels, both placed beneath a crown. In the central sliding compartment, the engraved plate indicateswith the festival being celebrated.
